Manufactured in the 1960s

This is a flat-top mandoloncello by PATTENOTE, famous for their French gypsy guitars.
It is no longer in production and is therefore unobtainable.
This is a very rare 12-string (6 x 2) instrument.

[Condition]
I received this instrument from a senior member of the guitar and mandolin orchestra I belong to.

PATTENOTE mandoloncello are extremely rare and rarely appear on the market, but this one is in good condition. My senior member regularly had it maintained and took great care of it. I have also had it regularly maintained since receiving it, and it was returned from maintenance just this month. (Strings have also been replaced.)

Therefore, it is ready to be played immediately upon arrival.

As it is from the 1960s, the sound has a deep resonance.
I have played several fine mandoloncello, but I have never encountered one quite like this. Furthermore, its 12-string construction is also extremely rare.

Overall, it is in good condition, with no issues with the neck, fingerboard, or frets.
There are also almost no scratches on the body.

As it is about 60 years old, I would like to pass it on to someone who can enjoy it as a vintage instrument.
