Ballpoint Pen Drawing Persian Cat 014 [Drawing Original Painting Illustration Cat Painting]
Thank you for viewing! (^-^)
This is a hand-drawn ballpoint pen drawing.
This is the 800th piece in my original artwork collection.
Regarding cat drawings: As I mentioned with Tabby Cat 013 and others, I no longer intend to draw them. Although I hesitated to open this closed lid, I've decided to release some cat drawings that I've had stored for a long time due to various reasons, and then conclude this series.
One of the reasons for this listing is that this is the 800th piece overall, including both pre-made and custom orders. In essence, it's a milestone piece for me as a commemorative listing. However, please be aware that, similar to the 700th pre-made piece, I will not be actively promoting sales of this item due to several reasons.
[Long and rambling explanation starts here↓]
This is a re-drawing of the same model from my past work, Persian 001. I was very fond of 001 and wanted to create some merchandise for myself, so I redrew it using the same model as a reference. However, I ended up saving it for two years without doing anything with it.
Similar to Shiba Inu 018 (currently for sale), I originally had no intention of selling this piece. However, after much consideration, I've decided to release all of my remaining works for now.
Since I intended this piece to be a formal original for merchandise creation, I put a lot of time and effort into making it a clean, finished work. There are many details that likely won't be apparent to anyone but me, the artist.
I drew this piece with great care, considering my physical and mental state, my feelings that day, the condition of the pen, the temperature, and the calculation and execution of each line's placement and pressure. Of course, I poured just as much effort into 001 as any other piece, but this one took about 3 to 4 times more effort. (However, I personally find the face in 001 to be clearly cuter, which is also why it was stored away.)
Therefore, I have strong reservations about selling this at the same price point as my other works, regardless of demand or reviews. It will likely be treated as an exhibit piece, so please be aware of this in advance.
